The magazine Michigan Avenue profiled Chicago Mayor and former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel for this month’s issue and we get the feeling that he really doesn’t miss D.C.
Photographed, almost seductively, riding Chigaco’s “L” Train to work (something he does twice a week), Emanuel gushes about his mayor gig. “I love this job,” he told the glossy, a sister pub to D.C.’s Capitol File. “I think it’s the greatest job I ever had, I really mean it.”
That being said, he does keep on hand a memento from his time at the White House — a framed to-do list from President Obama, checking off their accomplishments.
