Report: Don’t worry much about quakes and fracking

WASHINGTON (AP) — A new government report says the controversial practice of hydraulic fracturing does not pose a high risk of triggering earthquakes big enough to feel.

The report said other types of energy-related drilling and wastewater injections do make the ground shake noticeably, but even that’s quite rare.
