Fox Business host Charles Payne suspended amid sexual harassment allegations: Report

Fox Business Network suspended host Charles Payne while its parent company, 21st Century Fox, investigates sexual harassment claims against him, according to a report.

Following the announcement of Payne’s suspension by the Fox Business Network, which was confirmed Wednesday night, the Los Angeles Times reported the investigation into sexual assault.

“We take issues of this nature extremely seriously and have a zero tolerance policy for any professional misconduct,” Fox Business Network said in a statement Thursday evening. “This matter is being thoroughly investigated and we are taking all of the appropriate steps to reach a resolution in a timely manner.”

The “Making Money” host reportedly acknowledged an affair with a married female political analyst in a statement obtained and published by the National Enquirer that appears to no longer exist on outlet’s website.

Multiple Fox News employees have been hit with allegations of sexual harassment since last year. Since last year’s allegations involving the late Roger Ailes, high profile host Bill O’Reilly and co-president of Fox News Bill Shine have since been ousted amid allegations of sexual harassment.
