NEW YORK (AP) — In a story Jan. 23 about grants to small business hurt by Superstorm Sandy, The Associated Press reported erroneously that the Downtown Alliance, a nonprofit group, contributed to $5.5 million in grants announced in November. The Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City and the Partnership for New York City actually contributed to that pool of grant money. The Downtown Alliance gave out grants separately.
