Motorists heading eastbound on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge may get caught in congestion this afternoon as high winds will prohibit two-way traffic.
The Maryland Transportation Authority, which operates the bridge, issued a notice this morning that the westbound span will not be open for two-way traffic, which is usually done to relieve afternoon traffic heading to the Eastern Shore.
