A 6-year-old boy died Tuesday after being pulled from a pool Saturday in a near-drowning incident.

The child, whose name was not released, was pulled from the deep end of the pool at about 3:15 p.m. Saturday, Prince William County Police said. He had last been seen in the shallow end of the pool, at a gathering on the 13700 block of Rayburn Court.
