Protesters gathered outside the Western-themed Cowboy Jacks restaurant in Indiana Monday afternoon to call for Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz to drop out of the race before Tuesday’s state primary, due to his alleged secret identity as the infamous Zodiac Killer.
“Hey hey, ho ho, Zodiac has got to go,” the crowd chanted in Bloomington.

The long-standing joke regained momentum Saturday night after White House Correspondents’ Dinner entertainer Larry Wilmore tossed in a line that the Texas senator is the uncaught serial killer who plagued San Francisco residents in the 1960s and 1970s.
Cruz’s wife, Heidi, was even asked about it Monday while on the campaign trail.
“Well, I’ve been married to him for 15 years and I know pretty well who he is, so it doesn’t bother me at all. There’s a lot of garbage out there,” Mrs. Cruz told Yahoo News.
Cruz was born in 1970 and has never been hinted as a suspect by law enforcement officials.
