OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — AAA Oklahoma predicts that 386,000 Oklahomans will travel 50 miles or more from home during the upcoming Labor Day weekend.

That’s a 4 percent increase from the 371,000 Oklahomans who traveled last year. A spokesman for AAA Oklahoma says consumer confidence appears to be driving the increase this year — especially because gas prices have gone up lately.
