O’Hare transit station shut for hours over odor

CHICAGO (AP) — Authorities have reopened the train station at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport after a nearly four-hour shutdown to investigate a strong odor.

The station platform was evacuated Thursday morning. The Chicago Fire Department responded with a hazmat crew to check out reports of an ammonia-like odor in the track area.
