AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott says he will fight a new federal requirement to cut Texas carbon emissions.

The Republican nominee for governor issued a statement Monday ripping standards issued by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as a potential job-killer.
