LAKE CHARLES, La. (AP) — Officials in Lake Charles are refocusing efforts to development of public property along the lakefront.
The American Press reports (http://bit.ly/1eOXZNb) the city had been negotiating with the Mardi Gras Boardwalk development group for several years, but the talks didn’t produce results and city officials lost patience.
