Jordan passes reformed law for 2012 elections

AMMAN, Jordan (AP) — Jordan’s powerful Islamist opposition dismissed elections reforms Wednesday as “cosmetic,” hours after the legislature passed the changes to govern a parliamentary vote scheduled for later this year.
