Petition demands Switzerland kick out Putin’s purported mistress and their children

A new online petition is calling on Switzerland to kick out Vladimir Putin’s purported mistress and the mother of his four young children believed to be hiding out in a luxury chalet.

Alina Kabaeva, an Olympic gold medal rhythmic gymnast who was once dubbed “Russia’s most flexible woman,” was sent to Switzerland at the start of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, according to multiple media reports. That’s not sitting well with some who have demanded the European country, which has prided itself on neutrality, expel her.

“It’s time you reunite Eva Braun with her Fuhrer,” the strongly worded petition said in reference to the longtime lover and wife of Adolf Hitler. Braun and Hitler were married for one day before they committed suicide.

It added: “Despite the current war, Switzerland continues to host an accomplice of Putin’s regime,” the Daily Mail reported.

Despite several rounds of sanctions against Russia, Putin, his oligarch friends, and pro-Moscow businesses, the West has not sanctioned Kavaeva, who pulls in a $15 million salary as chairwoman of the board of directors at National Media Group, a state-run media giant.

The 38-year-old former gymnast is seldom seen in public, and neither she nor Putin have publicly confirmed their relationship.

In fact, Putin has never acknowledged any of his children. Media outlets have reported that he had two daughters with his first wife, former flight attendant Lyudmila Shkrebneva, to whom he was married for three decades. The couple divorced in 2014.

Putin and Kabaeva share twin 7-year-old daughters who were born near Lugano, Switzerland, in February 2015. It’s been reported that they also have two sons.

“Alina has two young boys and twin girls with Putin who were born in Switzerland,” a source told Page Six about Putin’s alleged children with Kabaeva. “The kids all have Swiss passports, and I imagine she does also.”

Putin is notoriously private about his family and has gone so far as to shut down an entire media outlet in Russia after a reporter asked about his family.

Kabaeva was most recently caught on video dancing at the “Divine Grace” rhythmic gymnastics tournament in Moscow in December, just two months before Putin ordered the invasion of Ukraine.

The petition to have her and her children kicked out also claims that Kabaeva “is the favorite wife of [the] delusional dictator and war criminal who has been treacherously attacking Ukraine over the past weeks. As she is supportive of social activities in Russia, she has been attempting to get Russian citizens accustomed to the reality of sanctions after 2014, and personally proclaimed: ‘The worse it gets, the better for us!'”
