Donald Trump was for the Iraq war, but says he was against it. Trump is now saying he wants to use more American troops to fight ISIS.
During Thursday night’s Republican presidential debate, Trump said he’d like to send 20,000 or 30,000 more troops to fight ISIS.
Moderator Hugh Hewitt asked, “Mr. Trump, more troops?”
Trump replied, “We really have no choice. We have to knock out ISIS. We have to knock the hell out of them, we have to get rid of it and then we have to come back hereand rebuild our country, which is falling apart.”
Hewitt asked, “How many?”
“I would listen to the generals but I’m hearing numbers of 20,000 to 30,000. We have to knock them out fast.”
