Funeral plans announced for ex-US Sen. Alan Dixon

BELLEVILLE, Ill. (AP) — Memorial services will be held next week for former U.S. Sen. Alan Dixon of Illinois.

Dixon died Sunday at age 86 at his home in Fairview Heights.
