HILO, Hawaii (AP) — Police on the Big Island are again asking for the public’s help in finding a missing Japanese tourist.
Fifty-one-year-old Hiromichi Yoshino has been missing since Feb. 13. He was last seen in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park at about 9 a.m. His rented vehicle described as a four-door burgundy Kia sedan was found unlocked at the end of a road at the Lava Viewing area. Police say Yoshino had been staying at a bed and breakfast in Volcano Village.
Anyone with information is being asked to call 935-3311. Police say those wishing to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo and 329-8181.
