Disney appears to be standing firm on its representation of LGBT characters with its new show Baymax.
Baymax was released to stream on Wednesday, and the series, a spin-off of 2014’s Big Hero 6, is gaining attention for a series of viral clips posted to social media.
One clip shows the titular Baymax, a healthcare robot, shopping for feminine hygiene products and receiving help from a character wearing what appears to be a transgender flag shirt.
