A senior adviser to an anti-Trump political action committee and frequent pundit on CNN used a derogatory slur to describe President Trump in a tweet.
Sophia Nelson, replying to a tweet from former Republican consultant Rick Wilson, said defenders of the president “always have an excuse to cover for his retarded ass,” according to screenshots of her tweet published by the Daily Caller.
Nelson’s tweets are private.
“Trump was so distracted by impeachment he couldn’t focus on Corona!” Wilson mocked Senate Republicans, who said as much on Tuesday. “Except when he was golfing about a dozen times between January 1st and March 8th. Anyone want to fill in the dates?”

Nelson later deleted her tweet and ripped the “twitter bully mob” for attacking her, the Caller reported.
