The scandal special never ends

17 months: How long a local anonymous entrepreneur, known by the Twitter handle “JadedInDC,” has offered a “scandal special” on “I Miss Fenty” merchandise. The special started back in February 2011, when Mayor Vincent Gray was dealing with PR nightmares including the questionable hiring of Sulaimon Brown and former D.C. Council Chairman Kwame Brown’s leasing of overpriced Lincoln Navigators. “The scandals kept going so the special kept going,” JadedInDC told Yeas & Nays, noting that there has been an uptick in sales recently with news of potential wrongdoing during Gray’s mayoral run.
