An Australian police detective paused his press conference on Wednesday in Queensland after he heard a commotion coming from behind him. He turned around to see a man fleeing with people shouting at him and another man in hot pursuit. The detective, Senior Sergeant Daren Edwards, quickly tackled the man in a maneuver seen by many as being a textbook rugby tackle.

The man who chased the tackled man said, “He’s been inappropriate to my daughter.”
