Conservatives reject Biden claim that Obama had not a ‘single whisper of scandal’

Presidential candidate Joe Biden said President Barack Obama’s administration did not have a “single whisper of scandal” for all eight years during his appearance on “The View.”

“I’m incredibly proud to have served with him,” Biden said. “The thing I’m proudest of is, we, coincidentally, were each in a different part of the country and we were each talking to groups of people that were being televised and at the same day, purely coincidentally, we were asked what are you proudest of from your administration? You know what I said — he said the same thing as I did — not one single whisper of scandal.”

“I know. He’s amazing,” co-host Joy Behar said in agreement.

Biden, who launched his campaign on Thursday, has yet to receive Obama’s endorsement. Biden explained he asked the former president not to endorse him because the nominee should win based on their own merit.
