Sheriff: Pilot dies in Illinois small plane crash

PLANO, Ill. (AP) — Kendall County authorities say an longtime Elgin attorney has died after his small plane crashed in a suburb southwest of Chicago.

The wife of 80-year-old John E. Juergensmeyer told the Daily Herald in Arlington Heights that (http://bit.ly/1rwRIgv ) her husband was piloting the plane when it crashed around 8 p.m. Sunday in unincorporated Plano.
