WASHINGTON (AP) — A former employee at the U.S. Embassy in Caracas, Venezuela, has pleaded guilty in a scheme involving visa applications.
Forty-four-year-old Christian Paredes Uzcategui of Caracas entered the plea Wednesday in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. He faces up to two years in prison at sentencing Dec. 7.
