WASHINGTON (AP) — Secret Service Director Julia Pierson says the agency’s security plan to protect the White House was not properly executed when an Army veteran with a knife jumped the fence and made his way well into the executive mansion.
Pierson says all decisions and actions made on Sept. 19 are being reviewed, including when it’s appropriate for the Secret Service to use force.
