The Capitals have announced their preseason schedule for the 2010-11 season. The team will play three games each at home and on the road. Boston is the lone Eastern Conference opponent. Columbus and Nashville also take part in home-and-home contests. The preseason games open on Wed., Sept. 22 at the Blue Jackets and conclude on Sun., Oct. 3 at Verizon Center against the Predators.
