Local property manager acquires property in Iowa

Phillips Edison & Company, a Baltimore-based real estate owner, manager and developer acquired a 137,696-square foot property called Quincy Plaza in Quincy, Iowa, this week. The property currently has 17 tenants, with a Kmart providing the biggest customer draw among them.

“Quincy Plaza exemplifies Phillips Edison?s willingness to buy dominant retail locations in tertiary retail markets,” Erick Koehler, the Midwest acquisition officer for Phillips Edison said in a statement.

Phillips Edison owns and managers 147 national shopping centers in 30 different states.
