D.C. police executed a drug raid at the wrong home and ended up injuring an 86-year-old federal retiree, according to this report by WTTG Fox 5.

Robert Smith said the officers rammed open the door open to his apartment on Randolph Street NW on March 4. Smith had gone to the door to answer it when he was bowled over, he said. Police called an ambulance and Smith said he was treated for contusions to the head and back, but police have yet to apologize.
