FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — AutoNation saw new vehicle sales jump 16 percent to top 24,000 last month, as the auto dealership chain reported double-digit percentage gains in domestic, import and premium luxury lines.
The Fort Lauderdale, Florida, company said Thursday that import sales climbed 18 percent to nearly 11,600 compared to September 2013. Domestic sales rose 13 percent to 7,356 and premium luxury sales were up 17 percent to 5,126.
