‘Like it or not,’ Ana Navarro is a Republican, she says

Ana Navarro remains a Republican, she said.

“Like it or not,” Navarro is a member of the GOP, she said Friday while guest-hosting on ABC’s The View.

“I’m not going to let a guy who was a Democrat, an independent, became a Republican just a few years ago kick me out,” the commentator and political strategist said, referring to former President Donald Trump.

“I’m not going to let — not going to be kicked out by a person who has no ideology, no principles, and no convictions,” she said.

Navarro, a critic of Trump, said she is annoyed that other members of her party are so eager to move on from the events of Jan. 6.

“It drives me crazy when people come on this show, or on every other show, and say we’ve got to move on from Jan. 6,” she said. “It was an attack on democracy. We are not moving on.”

Navarro feels she has a responsibility in the Republican Party to call out members who lack integrity, she said.

“I like the idea that I can be inside the tent and calling out the people who are unprincipled and who’ve sold out their values. And so, I’m not going anywhere, you know, like it or not,” she said.
