Ralph Nader gives Clinton, Trump failing grades

Former presidential candidate Ralph Nader is not impressed with either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton.

Asked Wednesday evening on CNN who he would choose between the two, Nader said “they both flunk.”

Nader described Trump as a “failed gambling czar who became a corporate welfare king that’s cheated his way to a billion dollars by every of his business operations.”

“I mean he’s cheated his workers, consumers, creditors, suppliers, taxpayers,” he added.

As for Clinton, Nader said that the former secretary of state is “more Wall Street and more war … I mean, she’s a hawk that actually scares the generals.”

Nader said the most promising platform is the one espoused by a third party.

“There are third parties and they are write-ins. I think the Green Party has, by far, the best platform over the years,” Nader said.

Nader ran four separate presidential campaigns for the presidency in 1992, 1996, 2000 and 2004. In 1996 and 2000 he ran as the nominee of the Green Party, which is now being represented by Jill Stein.
