At a recent L.A. recording session, OK! magazine reports, RiRi’s team was barraged with unwanted calls from her ex.
“Chris called Rihanna’s producer until he finally got him on the phone,” a source relayed to the tab. “He demanded to know if Rihanna was there, pleading, ‘Is she there? Tell me! Please tell me if she is there or not.’”
But the “Umbrella” singer wasn’t having it. Hearing that Chris was on the line, she waved the phone away, saying, “No! Tell him I’m not here.”

Hoff’s Hospital Scare
Was David Hasselhoff really stricken with alcohol poisoning — or is his ex-wife trying to poison his image? Over the weekend, a report claimed that the “Baywatch” star — whose battle with alcoholism was made public in an embarrassing video leaked online — suffered a relapse over the weekend.
According to Radar Online, the Hoff was found intoxicated and foaming at the mouth by his teenage daughter Hayley, who contacted her mother, Pamela Bach. Pamela allegedly rushed her former hubby to the hospital and kept a vigil at his bedside. The actor’s blood alcohol level was said to have reached a staggering .039.
But since this report, a back-and-forth has ensued: TMZ sources suggest that while David had indeed been drinking, the extent of his intoxication was greatly exaggerated by Pamela, who is “on the warpath” against him. In fact, the “Knight Rider” star’s attorney speculated that Pamela was the one who leaked the story, which would put her “in violation of the court’s order precluding contacting the media regarding her ex-husband.”
However, Radar sticks to its story, elaborating that David spent more than 12 hours in the hospital hooked up to an IV and heart monitor.
It’s hard to know whom to believe — but we sure hope that enmity between exes doesn’t cloud the truth about a serious health problem.
Mayer: Single Again
John Mayer’s purported romance with cocktail waitress Scheana Marie is over before it really even began, reports the New York Daily News. And, ironically, the Twitter-happy musician is said to have frozen her out for discussing him in the media.
After gushing to a Web site that “I love [John’s] personality … he’s funny” — although she clarified that “he is not my boyfriend,” Scheana is said to have fretted to friends about being “quite nervous that John hasn’t texted or called.”
A pal of the singer-songwriter told E! that “the two are no longer in contact” and that Scheana, 24, had been “exaggerating her interactions with him.”
We can only guess that John is miffed because he wants to be the one who gets to leak all the details of his personal life to the press.
Britney: Voiceless
The dude who rushed the stage at Britney Spears’ Connecticut concert may have unwittingly revealed a dirty little secret about her “Circus” tour.
The pop icon was performing her encore of “Womanizer” when the 20-year-old man approached her. In video footage of the incident, Brit is seen to shriek with fear and back off gesturing and imploring him to keep away.
Here’s the odd thing: A headset mic was positioned squarely in front of Britney’s mouth. And yet, somehow, there was no sound of screaming heard over the audio.
