The private investigator who worked on Casey Anthony’s defense in the death of her daughter alleges that Hunter Biden is the subject of multiple criminal investigations.
D&A Investigations has filed court papers in support of Lunden Roberts’s bid to gain sole custody over her and Biden’s 16-month-old child. D&A is headed by Dominic Casey, the private investigator who worked on Anthony’s defense team in the 2011 trial over the death of her 2-year-old daughter.
The judge in Roberts’s case threw out D&A’s claims about Biden, saying the firm’s papers were not filed properly, according to the Daily Mail.
D&A’s filing is “a scheme by a non-party simply to make scandalous allegations in the pending suit to gain some quick media attention,” Biden’s attorney, Brent Langdon, said. Casey called himself an “intervener” in Roberts’s case against Biden.
Anthony’s lawyer, Jose Baez, hired Casey to work on Anthony’s defense team in July 2008. Anthony worked for Baez for a few months before quitting on Oct. 1.
In a court affidavit filed years later in April 2016, Casey alleged that Anthony had attempted to pin her daughter’s death on a meter reader who checked her house. The meter reader, Roy Kronk, found Anthony’s daughter’s body in a swamp and notified police. Anthony told Casey that since the gate to her backyard was left open the day her daughter disappeared, “we could say Roy Kronk kidnapped Caylee,” according to the affidavit.
Casey also said that Anthony did not have the funds to pay for a defense attorney and instead paid Baez with sexual favors. In one instance, Casey overheard Baez tell Anthony “you now owe me three blow jobs” after Baez canceled a media interview for Anthony.
Casey, widely known for pursuing conspiracy theories, has worked on a number of investigations touted on his firm’s website, including investigations involving Hillary Clinton, Jeffrey Epstein, and the Democratic National Committee.
