JOLIET, Ill. (AP) — A Joliet man became the second person to be convicted in a grisly 2013 double murder when a Will County judge convicted him Wednesday of the strangling deaths.

Judge Gerald Kinney announced his verdict in Joshua Miner’s case after a bench trial late last month in the strangling deaths of Eric Glover and Terrance Rankins, both 22. Miner faces a mandatory term of life in prison when he is sentenced Nov. 12.
