Tucker Carlson accuses CNN of promoting antifa violence

Tucker Carlson said on his Monday night Fox News show that rival network CNN had been promoting the violence of antifa terrorists by featuring them on their shows.

He highlighted two recent prime-time shows on CNN, CNN Tonight and Cuomo Prime Time, in which the hosts lauded antifa’s motivations and characterized their actions as a “fight against hate.” Carlson called the CNN hosts’ support of antifa “pure 200-proof propaganda. It’s an utter lie and everyone knows it. It’s also idiotic.”

Carlson also highlighted a recent promotion that aired on CNN in which host W. Kamau Bell admired the weapons of an antifa activist. Bell later tweeted support of the Puget Sound John Brown Gun Club, the antifa organization with which the recent ICE detention center attacker, Willem Van Spronsen, was affiliated. Van Spronsen was killed by state police during the attack. He wrote a manifesto to friends in the days leading up to his death titled, “I am Antifa.”

Carlson condemned Bell’s support of the antifa organization saying CNN was “literally promoting violence” through Bell’s support of the Puget Sound John Brown Gun Club.
