Former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle have purchased the rights for a potential TV adaptation of a new book by Michael Lewis that details the upheaval brought to the executive branch with the election of President Trump.
In The Fifth Risk, which was published early October, Lewis reports on the various agencies that struggled to adapt in the aftermath of the 2016 election.
The Obamas bought the rights to the book, according to Deadline Hollywood, and could possibly turn the book into a series for Netflix.
The Obamas signed a deal to work as producers with Netflix in May.
Obama has been touring the country recently, campaigning for Democratic candidates ahead of the 2016 midterm elections. Michelle Obama has a star-studded book tour coming up.
