Water main break causes NYC street collapse

NEW YORK (AP) — New York City work crews have been fixing the damage after a water main ruptured on the Lower East Side.

As a result, the Daily News (http://nydn.us/1n5y5ue ) says water was shut off Thursday at eight residential buildings and five businesses.
