Former President Donald Trump launched his new social media app TRUTH Social on Monday, topping download charts and creating a massive waitlist.
By Tuesday morning, 1.5 billion people had viewed the app in the iPhone App Store, with nearly 400,000 people receiving notices they were placed on a waitlist upon trying to sign up.
“Due to massive demand, we have placed you on our waitlist,” TRUTH Social’s notification read. “We love you, and you’re not just another number to us.”
