Normal man gets 8-year sentence in fatal DUI crash

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (AP) — A 19-year-old central Illinois man has been sentenced to eight years in prison for a drug-related crash that killed another man.

The (Bloomington) Pantagraph reports that (http://bit.ly/1rhdwxv ) Garrett Peterson was sentenced on Tuesday. He had pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated driving under the influence in exchange for prosecutors dropping several other charges.
