MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough said Wednesday that he’s aware of a recent meeting Donald Trump had with a foreign policy adviser in which Trump asked why he wouldn’t be allowed to use nuclear weapons.
Scarborough told the story during a Wednesday interview with former CIA Director Michael Hayden.
“Several months ago, a foreign policy expert went to advise Donald Trump,” Scarborough explained about the hour-long briefing. “And three times he asked about the use of nuclear weapons — three times he asked … ‘If we have them why can’t we use them?'”
Scarborough said the story is “one of the reasons why he doesn’t have foreign policy experts around him.”
