American Airlines issued an apology after a Twitter user complained about a pilot who had a “Let’s go Brandon” sticker on their luggage.
“Hey @AmericanAir — y’all cool with your pilots displaying this kind of cowardly rhetoric on their crew luggage when they’re in uniform, about to fly a plane?” said Twitter user, Dana Finley Morrison. “We are not the only passengers who noticed and were disgusted.”

Morrison has since made her account private after the post went viral.
The airline issued an apology in a tweet, assuring they would “handle this internally.”
“We take this very seriously and have sent this over to crew leadership,” the airline responded to a direct message from Morrison, the New York Post reported. “They will handle this internally after review. We assure you appropriate internal review will occur.”
Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we want to get this to the right team. Please DM any additional details.

Users criticized the airline’s response to the situation, with some saying the pilot deserved a raise for having to deal with passengers like Morrison.
“Hope he and everyone else gets a raise for having to deal with Karen passengers such as this one,” journalist Mollie Hemingway tweeted.

The phrase “Let’s go Brandon” is a euphemism for the phrase “F*** Joe Biden,” born from an incident when NASCAR fans chanted expletives about Biden, but a reporter mistakenly reported they were cheering for racer Brandon Brown. The “Let’s go Brandon” phrase has taken the internet by storm since its conception in October 2021.
