TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — A north Florida town commissioner has been suspended from office after being charged with commercial littering and reckless pollution.
Gov. Rick Scott issued an executive order Monday suspending Inglis Town Commissioner Michael Andrew White. Under Florida law, any local elected official facing a felony charge must be suspended from office until the case is resolved.
