SALEM, Ore. (AP) — The Oregon House narrowly passed a bill on Tuesday requiring overtime pay, meal breaks and other labor protections for housekeepers, nannies and in-home cooks.
Advocates said the legislation is needed to protect the largely female, immigrant workforce from abuses.
