The debate stage got rowdy Thursday night when several of the 10 Democratic presidential candidates spoke over one another until Kamala Harris shut it down.
“Hey guys, you know what? America does not want to witness a food fight, they want to know how we’re gonna put food on their table,” the California senator said.

The clash began when California Rep. Eric Swalwell took the first shot at Joe Biden, telling the former vice president it was long overdue to pass the torch to a younger generation of leaders.
After the moderators gave Biden a chance to respond, a handful of other presidential hopefuls began speaking over one another, including New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg.
The moderators tried to shut down the cross-talk by calling on Harris.
