D.C. police are on the lookout for a suspect in an armed carjacking that took place Saturday evening in Southeast.

The 5-foot-9 man — described as having dreadlocks and wearing a black ski mask, grey shirt and blue jeans — approached a vehicle with a gun around 6:40 p.m. Saturday on the 100 block of Wayne Place SE. The man knocked on the drivers window, showed the gun and said, “Get out of the car.” The driver complied.
