Vice President Joe Biden had an interesting exchange with the president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko. The two were speaking in front of reporters at the Munich Security Conference.
The exchange was captured by the on-site pool reporter:
As the pool came in, Mr. Biden and Mr. Poroshenko made small talk over the press pool and their handlers.
Mr. Biden remarked that a member of his advance team worked for the Miami Dolphins football team.
Mr. Biden then warned Mr. Poroshenko of the dangers of cameramen.
“Those things are dangerous,” Mr. Biden said.
Mr. Biden asked the Ukrainian President if he had heard that golfer Tiger Woods lost a tooth after being struck by a camera. (According to Press reports Mr. Woods claimed to have lost a tooth while being struck by a camera on the sidelines of Italian ski slope.)
“One of them turned around and knocked his tooth out,” Mr. Biden said.
“This is exactly these cameras,” Mr. Poroshenko said.
