Ivana Trump wants to be ex-husband’s ambassador to Czech Republic

The first wife of president-elect Trump wants to be an ambassador for his administration.

“I will suggest that I be ambassador for the Czech Republic,” Ivana Trump told the New York Post in an article published Sunday.

“[That] is where I’m from and my language and everybody knows me. I’m quite known all around the world. Not only in America,” Ivana Trump said. The 67-year-old was born in Czechoslovakia, which split into the Czech Republic (which now goes by Czechia) and Slovakia in 1993.

“I have written three books, and they were translated in 40 countries in 25 languages. I’m known by the name Ivana. I really did not need the name Trump,” the businesswoman and former model added.

Ivana and Donald got married in 1977 and divorced in 1992. She is the mother of Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric Trump.
