First lady Michelle Obama had a bit of trouble kicking off the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner Saturday evening.
After failing to immediately grab the audience’s attention, Obama took up a little small chat with the Wall Street Journal’s Carol Lee, president of the White House Correspondents’ Association, as they waited for the volume to die down.
“You all are making the First Lady wait,” Lee told the audience.
“It’s ok, we’re just hanging out here,” replied Obama.
