The Zika virus is no longer spreading in a trendy Miami neighborhood, but it is still spreading in other parts of the state.
Florida Gov. Rick Scott announced Monday that it has been 45 days since the last Zika infection was found in the Wynwood neighborhood, the Associated Press reported.
However, Zika is still spreading through mosquito bites in Miami Beach, and state officials have said that the infection zone in the beach area has spread.
More than 75 cases have been found of local transmission of Zika, which is primarily spread via mosquito bites.
