George Santos will not run for reelection after release of House Ethics report
Embattled Rep. George Santos (R-NY) will not seek reelection after a damning report from the House Ethics Committee was released on Thursday detailing how he misused campaign dollars and used them for personal gain.
In a statement posted on X, formerly Twitter, Santos ripped the report released by the Ethics Committee but also announced he would not be seeking reelection.
