Two people were fatally shot outside an elementary school in Baltimore, Maryland, bringing the total number of people killed in the city on Monday to four.
Police are investigating a double homicide in the south side of the city near the historic Cherry Hill Elementary/Middle School, according to Fox 45. The incident outside the school came just hours after two other people were killed in separate incidents that took place within 10 minutes of each other in Baltimore.

Violent crime is on the rise in Baltimore, where the per capita murder rate record was recently broken.
